About Shaina
Shaina was appointed by the current Board of Directors in December 2024. Shaina and her husband David became Dunthorpe community members in 2021 and have since been active and valued community members. In addition to her pursuit of entrepreneurial endeavors, she has also dedicated her time to various volunteer roles, including serving as the Chair of the District’s Budget Committee and helping to organize PTC events. Shaina is also a proud parent of two children, aged three and six, which inspire her commitment to the district’s long-term success.
Professionally, Shaina brings extensive leadership experience, having served as an Executive of an international nonprofit organization. Her passion for building science and sustainability reflect her dedication to creating a better future for the community and its children. Shaina is a graduate from the University of Oregon with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in International Studies and Journalism.
Outside of her volunteer work, Shaina enjoys spending time outdoors, playing soccer, exploring photography, and gardening. Shaina is looking forward to using her diverse skills, dedication, and enthusiasm to serving her community on the School Board.
